Check the differential for rough movement. Repair differential if these conditions are found.<br /> <br /> 2.- Inspect all bearings and cups for pitting, galling, flat spots or cracks. Replace as necessary.<br /> <br /> 3.- Check the differential case for an elongated or enlarged pinion mate shaft bore.<br /> <br /> 4.- Inspect the machined thrust washer surface areas for nicks, gauges, cracks or burrs.<br /> <br /> 5.- Check the case for cracks or other damage.
