&lt;br /&gt;
1.- Rotate the ring gear and check for broken, chipped or worn teeh. Check the differential for rough movement. Repair differential if these conditions are found.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2.- Inspect all bearings and cups for pitting, galling, flat spots or cracks. Replace as necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3.- Check the differential case for an elongated or enlarged pinion mate shaft bore.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4.- Inspect the machined thrust washer surface areas for nicks, gauges, cracks or burrs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5.- Check the case for cracks or other damage. Replace the case if any of these conditions are found.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;lt;center&amp;gt;&amp;lt;b&amp;gt;TIGHTENING TORQUES&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/center&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
